A collaborative effort of parents, community members, and staff contributes to the overall success of the students and the school, thus enabling us to achieve our mission. At Queen Creek Elementary, we are committed to providing a positive environment that promotes self-worth for all students and their individual differences. Our students are continually challenged by the high expectations and quality curriculum that our staff provides. ![]() Dear QCE Families, Welcome to the 2012-2013 school year! I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our school and to introduce myself. My name is Mrs. Erika Copeland, and it is an extreme privilege to be the principal of Queen Creek Elementary School. The opportunity to lead such a great staff and student body is a tremendous honor. We are proud recipients of the 2011 Arizona Educational Foundation A+ School of Excellence award. QCE is also an “A” rated school by the Arizona Department of Education. In addition, we are home to a top five finalist for the 2012 Arizona Teacher of the Year. Queen Creek Elementary has highly qualified teachers who know how to deliver effective instruction and help children grow, not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. This year, we will continue to stress academic achievement for all students and provide a learning environment that will provide for individual differences, promote self-worth, and establish an open channel of communication between our school and the community. Please don’t hesitate to introduce yourself when you’re in the building. I have an “open door” policy and work to keep parents informed and involved to the greatest degree possible with the education of their children. Together for children,
Erika Copeland |
